Had a great day with my FYP mates when I met them for dinner last week! Exactly around this time, this very date last year, all of us were scrambling around to finish our Final Year Project that is a requirement for us Year 3s to complete in order to graduate. The FYP is considered a module so since it is essential for us to complete it, all of us put in our hard work to get our project done before the deadline.
Dinner was full of reminiscence of memories of our FYP journey, from our hardships to the hilarious and embarrassing stuff that happened to us while doing the project. It was also Ramadhan when we were doing our project last year, and we stayed in till late at school to progress on our project right after our classes have ended so we broke our fast together in school. Even the non-muslims 'fasted' with the rest of us who are actually fasting. The entire journey bonded us all together and we grew to love each other like we're family.
Also, it has been a long time since I last pampered myself with good food and drinks and the entire week last week was full of great food and desserts, shamefully solely to myself.
PizzaHut is currently having a 1 for 1 Promo whereby you purchase a pasta and get a Personal Pan pizza for free! Such a great treat for myself! I finally satisfied my crave for Carbonara!
Can't help but to quickly snap a photo of Fiqah's Beef Lasagna because it looks so darn good!
After attacking my plate of Turkey Bacon Carbonara, I indulged myself in my Personal Pan of Meat Galore pizza.
All of us were so full right after our meals at Pizza Hut that every one of us paid a visit to the restroom immediately right after paying our bills! LOL! Afterwards we decided to have more catch-up sessions by the waterfront at Esplanade.
We came at the right time! The Marina Bay Sands : The Wonder Full Show started 5 minutes after we settled down at a spot near the waterfront. We were greeted by such a lovely view while we chat and laugh. I feel blessed to have such a great time that day, and obviously it made me realize how much I miss every single one of them after not making any contact for almost a year ever since all of us separated and got busy with our own careers.
Speaking of which, I got really tired after work one day and decided to perk myself up with some desserts! Paid a visit to Plaza Singapura to explore the new extension building that just opened. I heard that Canele's is already opened right there so I decided to give their macarons a try.
Bought for myself a pack of 12 macarons consisting of many different flavors of macarons. My personal favorite? The Salted Caramel Macaron.
The macarons at Canele's aren't your typical kinds of macarons that you find at other bakery stores. These macarons from Canele's are HUGE. Definitely worth a try if you have never tried macarons before in your life.
