    Being Perfect

“I think perfection is ugly. I want to see scars, failure, disorder, distortion.” - Yohji Yamamoto

I noticed that people tend to listen to what other people have to say, and afterwards amend themselves according to what the others say about them.

    "You're not really that pretty."
    "You're fat."
"Why are you wearing those clothes? It's so last season."
"Why are you friends with her?"
"Why are you friends with him?"
"You're not even a high school graduate. You're stupid."

Really, we shouldn't care about what other people have to say. We do whatever we want to do. I'm not saying that we should also evade the good advise that people have for us, but the negative comments and orders that were fished out to us should be avoided. I have friends who get affected by these comments and the negativity filled their brains the entire time, making them believe that they are what the comments claimed them to be, like :

"You're fat, you shouldn't be wearing that outfit."
    "Your hair needs serious work."

I know you guys would probably think that it is easy for me to say all these things, but really, I've went through these bullshit and used to be able to let these comments and negativity control me. But now, I feel that I have more strength to be able to put my hand up in front of that person's face and say "Shut the fuck up."

I'm just saying that you guys shouldn't have these things get the better of you and ruin you. You are who you are. And most importantly, no one is perfect. Everyone has their own unique side to themselves. Think of it this way : Are the people who bitched or have said something bad about you perfect at all? No right? So whenever someone has something bad to say about you, I'd say that it is time for you to whoop some ass.
